“To begin, I would like to say thank you, first to our Heavenly Father and then to the District
leadership for believing in me and offering me the opportunity to serve the Women of Michigan.
I consider it a privilege and an honor to humbly accept the position of Women’s Ministries Director
for the Assemblies of God, Michigan District. I am keenly aware that I will only be able to walk this
journey on my knees. Please know that I covet your prayers from the very beginning.
To tell you a little about myself, I have four children and I am married to an awesome man of God.
Our family currently attends Brightmoor Christian Church, where we are involved in various ministries.
My children are actively involved in the youth ministries and together my husband and I facilitate a weekly
marriage enrichment class, lead a community/home group and are members of the Prayer Ministry Team.
Personally, I have served as the Director of Women’s Ministries at Brightmoor Christian Church for the past
seven years. During that time, I have watched the Lord grow and equip numerous women that are currently
being used for His glory.
I am very excited to begin serving the Women of Michigan and I have already begun to seek the Lord’s heart
and will for this ministry. I know very well that I must depend upon the guidance of the Holy Spirit because He
is the one who is acutely aware of the needs of His flock. With that said, I commit to look to Him first as to
how to lead this ministry in a way that will touch the hearts and lives of the Women of Michigan.
I look forward to meeting and working with the awesome team of women who have worked alongside Mary
Selzer in the past, the many ministers and their wives, and those gifted women with servant’s hearts that
minister to the women in churches all over this great state of Michigan.
Finally, I would like to invite pastor’s wives and Women’s Ministries leaders to contact me. I am so looking
forward to sharing my heart and vision for Women’s Ministries and connecting with you, exchanging thoughts,
vision, but mostly, just getting to know you.”
