Teen Bible Quiz
![]()
Bible quiz is a systematic study of the Word of God with a concentration on a particular book or books. The quiz year begins in September and ends in April unless the team advances to the regional and national tournaments. Any church with as few as 2 kids or as many as 200 kids can participate in a quiz ministry. Bible Quiz integrates serious study and competitive fun! There are monthly meets that allow kids to test their knowledge and skill. It is a fun monthly outing for students to fellowship with other great students.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE FOR TEEN BIBLE QUIZ
The purpose of TBQ is four-fold.
1. Encourages, by systematic memorization and study, an in-depth understanding of God’s Word among young people, which leads to daily application of the Word.
2. Cultivate through competition a proper attitude toward winning and losing.
3. Provide an opportunity for disciplining youth so that they will reflect the Spirit of Christ in attitude, word, and action.
4. Provide through travel and competition opportunities to expand Christian friendships.
WHY SHOULD MY CHURCH START A QUIZ PROGRAM?
Is. 55:11 So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
There is no other ministry in the Assemblies of God that provides youth with the opportunity to memorize large portions of Scripture. Without the fun aspect of TBQ, youth are not likely to memorize God’s Word.
While having fun memorizing the Bible is a wonderful tool to get youth into His Word, the long-term benefits are even more encouraging. Adults who participated in BQ have a wealth of God’s wisdom to draw upon for their every need.
